French Fries: A poem

French Fries

We sat eating French Fries,
He, with a fork,
I, with my fingers.

We sat at the McDonald’s,
He, with a napkin in his lap,
I, with my elbow on the table.

We sat together,
Ignoring each other’s flaws,
Appreciating each other’s company.

Marriages are made of this.
