I am listening to a bunch of relaxing music today. I've got Boccherini, Vivaldi, Rimsky-Korsakov, Bach and many more in my playlist. I am trying to chill out.
Everything in this world is so tense. It makes your hair stand on end! I have found that there is no hurt in the world too great that music cannot help me to heal it. If I am angry, I listen to my angry music and walk and eventually I feel better. When I am sad, I listen to my sad music and it expiates the pain. When I am stressed, I listen to music that relaxes me and eventually, I can de-tox and be useful to people again.
I don't know if it happens this way for other people. I find that I can put myself into the singer's (or writer's) shoes and it helps me cope with the feelings that I have. It gives them a voice. It allows them to be heard, even when I have no words to express them.
"That which comes the closest to expressing the inexpressible is music." - Aldous Huxley
That's what Dad does too.
